Continuous lobbying enabled to reinforce and expand the social and technical network. Governmental institutions, local civil society and international organisations and NGOs progressively reinforced their involvement through increased assistance and support.
In 1999, the network was decided strong enough to handle a second programme and NYEMO II was initiated. NYEMO II would focus on the reintegration of vulnerable women with children and women living with HIV/AIDS.
In After 7 years with expatriate management, in 2004 local staffs became strong enough and decided to register with the Ministry of Interior of the Royal Government of Cambodia to create and establish a local Cambodian NGO and the fresh NGO handed over the project to NYEMO Cambodia.
The programmes of NYEMO have gained widespread recognition and governmental institutions, local civil society and international organisations and NGOs become increasingly interested to further expand the NYEMO concept in other regions in Cambodia. NYEMO is honoured receiving recognition and will be pleased to support expansion initiatives with the required technical assistance. However, NYEMO would like to accentuate that the success of its programmes is to be shared with all its collaborators and would like to express its gratitude towards them.
